    The
    frame is made of
    unfinished
    , kiln-dried Doug Fir, 2.5" deep and 9/16" wide.  The front edge is 3/16" wide. See technical drawing below for the exact dimensions of the frame's profile.
    The
    sizes refer to the dimensions of the canvas
    to be framed, not the size of the frame itself. For example to frame a 10x10" 1.5" deep canvas, you'll need a 10x10" 2.5" deep frame.
