Born as the baby to the BMW R1150GS, the BMW F650GS has a long and credible pedigree, including a string of variants. The BMW F650 has off-road pretentions but, in the real world, is a sturdy and sensible road motorcycle it deals with most situations with predictable power and confidence.
The BMW F650 is a work horse and powerhouse in one, neat package. With loads of torque, there’s power right through the rev range, taking you from town to country to motorways with relative ease. The BMW F650’s smooth delivery makes for easy riding, and it’s tried and tested, providing effortless welly.
These motorcycles are built to last… and they do.
The F650GS of 2003 vintage on offer here was part of a California collection of American and European bikes. A barn-find when discovered, the bike was stored for the last 15 years, having covered only 5,319 miles from new. Recently liberated, the bike was carefully cleaned and detailed and given a full re-commissioning, including new battery and general service. Cosmetically, the bike is in excellent condition. It is equipped with ABS, aluminium luggage, and comes with all the original screen, books and paperwork. Now, in great running condition, the bike is ready for the next owner.
Sold on a clean, clear California title in non-op status, so no back fees are due.
