A stand-out in a gym, workout room or deck, a fitness store or bike shop.
Stationary bike common in boxing gyms in the 1920s. Rare, special piece of sports equipment.
Project done years ago: I restored it as I am familiar with vintage bicycles. It's fully functional.
I found seat, made roller (rolling pin), rebuilt crank, pedals, etc.
Speedometer and odometer work. Roller has two tiny cracks (see video, below). The handlebar stem is slightly cocked so bars sit a bit off level. Pedals, chain, etc all work smoothly yet wheel could be tuned better to be 100% in center (if that kind of stuff bothers you - see video).
Last photo is the completed bike.
You'll need to replace base as
wood butcher-block is now gone
due to moving. I had found an old countertop at a building materials thrift store and it looked quite nice since it was aged.
