This is my personal collection and since I am 83, I have decided to let someone else enjoy it for a while. I built the Spitfire model from a Guillow's kit. It has a 28 inch wingspan and is mounted atop an old Booth's High & Dry gin bottle and is accompanied by a model MG of that era. Also a small framed placard provides details about this famed warbird. The large framed picture measures 28 in. by 38 in. It is a limited edition print and is signed by the artist, James Dietz who is quite well known for his military renderings. The other two pictures, one of a Spitfire and one of a Hurricane, measure 14 in. by 18 in. These are not prints; rather they are original watercolors done by Ian McGowan of Scotland, also a well noted artist. Of particular interest is the cotton printed tapestry which was made in Britain. It might be original to WWII but looks brand new. It measures 19 in. by 30 in. Finally, there are three publications, including the Time-Life Battle of Britain book from their WWII series. Please note that this collection is offered on a cash and carry basis only. Please ask any questions before buying.
