Description
I just purchased this PAIR of Chinese cloisonné ginger jars from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The jars bear the vintage "CHINA" export mark which is done in enamel to the bases. The jars feature stylized prunus branches with blossoms and buds. The décor shows rich color against the white enamel ground with fine brass coiled detail. The jars measure 5 ½" high and 5" in diameter. Both are in excellent condition with no damage. This handsome PAIR of prunus ginger jars would make a fine addition to your collection of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamels.
