This damper was recovered from a used Generalaire humidifier model 1042LH or 1042-L that was decommissioned for upgrading.
The plate measures about 6"
The spring has some surface rust from use but is still in working order.
IMPORTANT: the black plastic knob with chrome face is also included with the damper, however, over the years General Aire would do some slight styling changes to the knob (for example: sometimes the indicator line would be red whereas other times it would be blue).   Regardless of styling changes to the knob, all function the same.    You will get a knob with any styling variation they provided at random.
