This heavy duty shipping tool is intended for scoring and resizing medium to large cardboard boxes. It has a built-in 13" ruler to help with carton sizing measurements with 1/8" accuracy. This packaging shipping tool is a must have for every shipper, boxer, and reseller. If you work in a warehouse, this should be on your tool belt.
The material components is made primarily of metal. Some portions like the handle casing and slider end and tightening knob are made of durable stiff plastic. Overall this has been an excellent tool to help make even scoring lines and resize bigger carton boxes with greater accuracy.

How to Use:
Place the carton sizer against a wall of your box. This tool works best when you need to reduce a box fold by at least 2.25" or greater.
Adjust the slider to the appropriate ruler measurement that you need. For example, if you want to reduce the box side by 4" then set the adjustable slider to the 4" mark.
Grab the handle with one hand and the ruler with the other to help guide the scoring wheel.
Pull the tool towards you at a steady pace while keeping the scoring wheel flush against the side of the box. The scoring wheel will dig into the box side.
Once you reach the end of one side, simply place the tool on another side of the box and repeat until all four sides of the box are scored.
Use your favorite utility knife to slit all four corners of the carton down to the scored line. Cut off excess cardboard as needed.
Fold in the box flaps at the scored line and you have successfully reduced the size of your carton.
