    Description

A beautiful collectible set of U.S. postage stamps issued in 1982 to promote the World's Fair which was held in Knoxville, Tennessee that year. The theme of the fair was "Energy Turns the World" and the stamps feature four different types of energy.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office 39 years ago!  Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone interested in World's Fair memorabilia or anyone who lives in Knoxville or attended the fair!
See my other auctions for other blocks of historical significance and a block of stamps commemorating the World's Fair in New York from 1964 and Seattle in 1962!
All stamps are Mint Never Hinged.
