    Description

In 1925, Thomas George Chase created the formula for Chaser brand soda.  It was a lemon flavored soda the contained lithium citrate, a known anti-depressant.  It was a cure all for indigestion and hangovers.  In 1956, it became an international brand, so Double Cola bought the company.  It
disappeared as a U.S. brand after that.  However, Double Cola has brought it back to the U.S. 10 years ago.
This is an empty bottle of Chaser Beverage, bottled by The Chaser Co. of Memphis, Tennessee.  It is a very rare, harder to make, tricolor ACL label.  The bottle face features 3 characters, "Chaser chases thirst", hangover, and indigestion.
This bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company and dated 1938.  The bottle is 8 oz. and 8" tall.
The bottle has absolutely no case wear, the ACL's are perfect, as seen in my several pictures,  also no chips or cracks.  It looks like this bottle was never used.
