Description

Henry Minck started a water bottling business on 45-53 Beaver St. in Brooklyn in 1866.  He was soon joined by his brothers, Julius,
Aldoph
,
and
Theodore
, who recognized a going concern.  By the end of the 19th century, an ad touted this company as being the "largest and the best mineral water and beer bottlers in the country".  This bottler bottled Anheuser Busch beer and some other top names at the time.  The company continued to grow and in the early 1900's started to bottle soda.  This was a wise decision because Prohibition ended the beer production.  The company last until the date of this bottle, 1963.
This is an empty bottle of Minck Pale Dry Ginger Ale soda.  The bottle face features a brilliant red and white contrasting ACL label.  On the backside, the ingredients list and "Bottled by Minck Bros & Co. Brooklyn, N.Y. Contents 8 Fl. Oz.".
This bottle was made by the Glenshaw Glass Company of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania., in 1963.  The bottle is 8 oz. and 9" tall.  This bottle features a beautiful orange peel effect.
This bottle has little case wear, the ACL's are nice with practically no wear, as seen in my several pictures,  also no chips or cracks.
