    Description

This book is a nice copy of "The Grand Alliance" third volume in "The Second World War" series of books by Winston Churchill, the great writer and the Prime Minister of Great Britain during the Second World War.
    Volume 3
    Houghton Mifflin Company Boston 1950
The theme of the volume; "How the British fought on with with Hardship their Garment until Soviet Russia and the United States were drawn into the Great Conflict."
903 pages.  Includes Appendix and Index
    Book is in good condition.
There is a mark on the front of the book which I believe is either a scuff or caused by a bit of water.  One other very tiny scratch on the spine.  May just be a flaw in the binding material.  Inside has bent corner on Acknowledgments page and some slight wrinkling on the pages before and after.  Inside book is clean and unmarked.  Pages are lightly toned.  Not sure if this is original color or not.
Dust jacket is in overall good condition.  There is some rubbing and a small dent on the front.  Spine is somewhat chipped on the top and bottom. There is a faded spot on the top of the DJ spine that looks like a hole in the photos.  It seems to be bleached of color in that area.  Back top corner has a small tear and bent edge.
All-in-all this is a nice copy of a very interesting book.  A great edition to your library or gift for a WWII collector.
